Making the bed is a workout. I learned where the overhead doors are, and which ones to make sure are closed. Yes, I actually make the bed up each morning. Keeping the small area tidy is important to me. My little OCD gremlins are less apt to attack.
I love Dollar Tree, and I especially love those little containers they have in all shapes and sizes. My advice is stock up on those. You will find a multitude of uses for them. I have them in the drawers, pantry, on the table, in the bathroom, and I even have them attached to the wall with Command Strips. Ah! Command Strips…another must have in different sizes.
Here is a list of some must haves…more will be added later as I find them. Trust me…I am hunting them!
- As mentioned above…little different shaped baskets. These can be used for nail tools….like clippers for fingernails, toenails. Let me stop here….yes, even though you are camping and in the wilderness…clip those nails! Unless of course you plan to swoop down and grab the night’s dinner out of the lake.
- Use one for a quick first aid kit..bandages, tweezers and antibacterial ointment. That is in addition to the main first aid kit which should be stored near the front of your RV with latex gloves. Store those gloves near the black hose…..yep…
- Those little containers from Dollar Tree can be used in the pantry for spices. I have lost so many spices to the back of the pantry. I am now the proud owner of 6 bottles of cinnamon spice! I use the bigger ones for shoes, make-up, cell phone accessories, notebooks and pens, brochures and maps…the list can go on.
- Command strips are your friend! Not only use them to hang pictures of your sweet children and grands, but to hang those before mentioned handy dandy containers from Dollar Tree. Use your imagination. Just make sure you have enough available because I tell ya you will find a use for them.
Storage options are inexpensive, just shop and decide what and where you need them. Of course in another post I will be going farther into this…however…you must return
